Teachers
Aileen Epstein Ignadiou is the founder of I.Y.A.S.N. She has just recently
given up the Presidents position and currently remains as the Treasurer and Advisor.
Aileen has been studying and teaching yoga for twenty-five years. She is
certified with the Iyengar Yoga Associations of Great Britain and the United
States and has studied at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in India and with senior
Iyengar instructors. Aileen has taught classes and workshops in Tel Aviv, London,
Los Angeles and Las Vegas where she now resides with her husband and children.
Aileen has been teaching classes in Las Vegas since 1992 including for the
community College (CCSN) and the University (UNLV). Aileen's desire is to
provide the people in her community with professional instruction and a
state-of-the-art facility in which to practice and learn yoga.
Avoia Mia Tapia has been studying Iyengar Yoga since 1994, in Las Vegas,
Nevada. She is involved in the teacher training program provided by Aileen
Epstein-Ignadiou and IYASN, in aspirations of becoming certified in the Iyengar
method of yoga. Mia teaches and volunteer yoga classes throughout the Las Vegas
Valley, including the Community College (CCSN). She is also an active member of
IYASN and the Iyengar Yoga Philosophy Class. Mia has dedicated her life to
studying the art and science of yoga.
